Los Angeles Valley College has Open Gym every Tuesday and Friday from 7 to 10.
My friend Drew invited me a few weeks ago and we had so much fun.
It took me back to my glory days and even though I was a wee bit apprehensive about being 28
and attempting things I haven't done in years but...
I've still got it. Below is a short snippet of whats left
of my very short list of gymnastics abilities.
Drew is my very first LA friend. He is so amazing.
He is smart, hysterical, highly fashionable, kind, and a complete breath of fresh air.
He makes me believe that there are good things and store.
And weirdly this gymnastics thing is really therapeutic. It is so fun to go and play.
I love that I have someone to share a common interest with here.
He is also the one who introduced me to this song by Mika.
This video pretty much is the soundtrack to our friendship at this point.
